Info from cabin owner
1. The kitchen is fully equipped, but if you are needing a specific item, you can either ask me or pack it to be safe.
2. We have plenty of firewood there.
3. As far as early check in or late check out it depends on the reservations around you. I will be able to give you that answer as we get closer to August, but I will put a note on your contract.
4. There are nice beaches within a mile in a couple different directions. On West Mountain road there are nice small beaches at the Buttercup and Huckleberry campgrounds. And on Dawn drive there is a day-use beach and boat dock. The water is nice for swimming because it tends to be warmer than Payette Lake in McCall.
5. I compiled a quick list of summer things to do, depending on the interests of your group. At Tamarack 5 miles from the cabin they have zipline tours (you need to call ahead). They also have golf, frisbee golf, and mountain bike trails. If you're into hiking there are lots of great trails around Boulder Lake. There are rental places in both Cascade and McCall to rent jet skis. If it is not super hot you might consider Gold Fork Hot Springs. They have about 5 different pools ranging from very hot to warm.
6. What you should bring: The cabin is fully furnished and has a well equipped kitchen, with dishes, pans, utensils, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, etc. However, you may want to bring specialty items. Bedding and bath linens are supplied. We have a washer & dryer but cannot guarantee the availability of laundry soap. We will supply limited paper products so if your stay is longer than 2 nights we recommend that you bring paper towels and toilet paper. We supply NO personal bath products, soaps, shampoos, etc. There are a very limited number of beach towels. We ask that you not take house towels to the beach or boating. There is plenty of firewood for campfires. During the winter months a four-wheel drive vehicle is recommended.
